Ah! Another day, Another Upload! Finishing the previous one, I was inspired to do this one by tonight.

It is from episode two of Xam'd (otherwise known as "Bounen No Xamdou")
The episode is called, "Blackout on Sentan Island"
I took a screenshot of the Blu-Ray Source and worked with that.

Akiyuki, having just been transformed into the being known as Xam'd, can only remember, "I want to live". He defends himself against a "Humanform" Biological weapon, one of the many that are rampaging throughout his town.

Although she didn't see it for herself, Haruhi knows that this creature is her friend Akiyuki, and she thinks he is in danger, so she runs after him and the humanform weapon.

During all of the commotion, Chunks of debris are launched into the large water pipe that Haruhi is standing on and she plummets to the bottom of the canal where the Xam'd and the Humanform weapon are fighting.

Seeing her fall and Hearing her call out his name, the transformed Akiyuki rushes to Haruhi's rescue in one of the most memorable points of the series.

I used a different technique to shade this one. Normally I use gradients but this time, I used a brush...
I felt it needed the detail, but what do I know?

Let me know if You like it this way or not, or if you have any pointers or tips. I'd love to hear them.

Also as per usual, this file is 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is twice the size of standard 1080 screens. So if any cropping or editing is necessary for it, there will be no problem.

I don't yet know what my next subject will be, but if you have any suggestions or wishes that fit with the style, then I may grant them! :P

So far I'm TRYING to keep the subjects as COUPLES (lovers, siblings, friends, partners, etc).
They must be in a memorable or important situation. One that, when you see it, you remember EXACTLY when, where, and why it happened.
Lastly, it must be a serious situation, dramatic, emotional, or beautiful.

So there it is, If anyone has any ideas for a scene in an anime that falls into those guidelines, let me know.
It's hard enough trying to find great ones myself.

Honestly, I never really paid enough attention when watching this anime. I just knew that this scene was the equivalent to the season two finale of eureka seven.
